Teatr ZAR is opening the possibility for a small number of stagiaires to follow closely the work of the company for a period of nine months from September 2010 to May 2011. 

 

Those selected 5-6 actors/performers will have the opportunity of experiencing the following:

* Taking a part in the daily work within the company and getting a closer insight into the creative process. The stagiaires will train with the company and rehearse the musical and physical material of the group’s performances.

*  Participating in the process of birth and development of Teatr ZAR´s new theatre project connected to the Armenian history and Near East culture.

* Helping to create and set up the archive of musical record ings and other material gathered by Teatr ZAR during expeditions and meetings.

* During the period of the stage, Teatr ZAR will be organizing three Practical Seminars focusing on different fields of research and interests connected to their musical sources of inspiration. The stagiaires will have the opportunity of participating as well as being a part of the organizational team during the events.

* Taking part in the intensive Winter Atelier, which offers the participants a chance to undergo two weeks of invaluably rich meetings and work experiences with other students and theatre practitioners from all over the world.

* Helping with the process of presentation of Teatr ZAR’s performances.

The conditions of engagement for each collaborator will be assessed individually. Some stagiaires might be invited to accompany Teatr ZAR on some of their expediti ons (details concerning this possibility will be considered at a later date).

There is no fee for becoming a stagiaire of Teatr ZAR from middle of September 2010 to end of May 2011. However, applicants will be expected to cover most of the living and travel expenses on their own. Teatr ZAR Association together with The Grotowski Institute will offer any help needed with fund raising from the side of the stagiaires concerning their stay in Poland.
